Contest - "Vale por un Videoclip"

The
Cinematographic Group Humus and the radio show "Gente
Hermosa" broadcasting in
FM La Tribu
and sponsored by
ImposibleMedia convened musicians (bands and soloists) to
stablish an artistic interchange among music and audiovisual
disciplines by making a videoclip for the winner of the
constest: "vale por un videoclip".
On November 28th , after finishing all the stages of the
contest, the winner was annaunced, according to judge opinion
and Guiye Frayo’s song “Arcoiris en un ojo”
resulted as the chosen one. The making of the video clip was
filmed on November 2007 and it was finished on March 2008.
The Judge were:
Tom Lupo
Journalist , psicologyst and poet . Currently teaching at
TEA .Also hosting several radio shows (Tertulias Culturales de
la Semana, El Faro and more )He recently re-launched his own
Tom Lupo Show, with slight changes, after 20 years, is on air
again, the first argentine rock radio show broadcasted in the
early 80's.
"It is a way of transmitting our culture with joy and
vitality, without getting bored", he sums up .
The Tom Lupo Show remaind in the radiophony history because of
its innovating character. In the special demo section ( called
Yellow Submarine), Lupo made play for the firs time many bands
that today are very famous in Argentina.
He was also the first to broadcast a live show from a mobile
studio.
Guillermo Pintos
He has been a wisdom during the development of argentine
Rock music . He was also one of the smarters tellers, and a
very enthusiastic and profound journalist. His work is a proof
of what a man is capable to do when pleasure and business,joy
and profession , are in the same way.
As a consolidated music specialist , from his place he is
humil and he dears to show us a new world, with an horizon
full of stethic and sounding posibilitis.
On his formal CV you can read : Journalist , 36 years old ,
from Olavarría (Buenos Aires province ).He was a writter and
editor of the Show-business section of suplemento joven "No"
de Página/12, and assistant in Rolling Stone and Los
Inrockuptibles Magazine . Today he is the Programming director
of music channel Much Music.
Ruth Infarinato
Born in she became one of the most famous VJ’s at Latin
MTV, appearing in daily shows seen at more than 25 millon
homes among 22 countries.
With her desenfrenada personality, her vanguardist philosophy,
her extravagant looking, hair colour changes and her
particular way of speaking, he turned on the image of many
generations that imitated her . Ruth has also been an actress,
and participated in several publishing campaigns such as
Disney, 7UP, Apple, Panasonic, among others.
